Write and record a NEW SONG based on the prompt.
Interpret however you like.
Start with the prompt and take it anywhere with your music.
Your song can be any length, any format, any language (or dialect), and it doesn't have to be a polished finished recording.
You can also do more than one!
Post it online (youtube, soundcloud, tumblr, anywhere people can listen to it) with the tag #NewSongSunday.
Submit the link to me by Saturday midnight!
So I can include your new song in the New Song Sunday blog, which will be posted every Sunday with links to everyone's new songs, as well as a new prompt. Yay!
I got the idea from Illustration Friday and I figured it would be a cool way to get myself and other creatives to just flex those musical muscles and practice being a singer-songwriter.
